TURNING ON AND OFF

The Transmitter is always in a permanent sleep state.

It is only ON when a button is being pressed and does

not need to be turned off by the user.

Turning the Collar Unit ON:

Press and hold the ON/OFF button. The SmartLED

Indicator will light solid red for one second. Release

the button when the SmartLED begins to flash. The

unit is now ON, and the SmartLED will flash

approximately every two seconds.

Turning the Collar Unit OFF:

Press and hold the ON/OFF button. The SmartLED

Indicator will light solid red for one second. Release

the button when the SmartLED begins to flash. The

unit is now OFF, and the SmartLED will no longer

flash.

NOTE

If the SmartLED on the Transmitter flashes red rapidly after

any button is pressed, or if the SmartLED on the Collar Unit

double-flashes red every other second while ON, the unit

will need to be recharged. If this happens soon after a full

charging session, the rechargeable batteries may need to

be replaced.
